DAG Mapper

This was the original mapper from the Master Assist program, but I needed it a little bit faster than I needed the entire Assist program so here it is.

It's still a rough start and I have a long way to go, but I wanted to get some screen shots up.

This is an image of the map (in edit mode) I'm currently working on, the first level of Undermountain (the upper left corner of the map).  The controls at the bottom are pretty close to what I had on the DM Assist, except that I've added a "polyfill" button.  This will be used to create oblong shaped rooms.  What this does that the mapper of the DM Assist didn't do was the ability to associate each line, rectangle, circle, etc. with a room number, or hall number, or whatever.  I'll explain that further down.

This is the same image in view mode.  This is what the DM will be looking at while running the adventure.  As you scroll sideways or up and down, the numbers will scroll up and down to show you where you are on the map (for big maps like this one.  Incidentally, in case you didn't notice, the squares are 5' instead of the 10' squares on the original map.  It isn't as obvious in this view, as the grid is at the back, but it does show part of what I talked about earlier.  Notice the text at the bottom of the image?  In this view, you can point to any section and it will show the "tag" of the room that you want to show on the player's map (more on that later).

This is a similar image, with the grid in front of the map.  There will be a separate map put on a second monitor that will show the players where they are on the map (without the scroll bars to show how close they are to the edge of the map) that the DM can control.  Turn on each room, hall, door, intersection, etc.  Here's why:

This is an image off of one of the posts at EnWorld.  The second monitor is hooked up to a projector that is suspended from the ceiling and shines on the game table.  I want to be able to turn on and off rooms, halls, etc. as the PC's are exploring the dungeon.

I'm waiting on upgrading the control for creating the maps, so I'm on hold, AGAIN!!!!

More info will be available as warranted.
